Keep prose diffs at one sentence per line
Write one prose sentence per source line and apply the convention only to text being edited.
Do not wrap sentences at a column limit or reflow an entire existing document as part of a narrow edit. Headings, table rows, code fences and Mermaid blocks are exempt. Use direct factual prose, backticks for code identifiers and paths, and bold a domain term on first introduction. Write in English unless the user requests another language or the existing document uses another language. The detector heuristically flags sentence punctuation followed by an uppercase word on the same prose line. It ignores inline code, Markdown link destinations, common abbreviations, tables, headings and fenced code. Natural-language sentence segmentation is imperfect; review a finding before changing prose.
Detection scope
This detector recognizes specific textual patterns; it is not a complete semantic analyzer. Explicit user instructions and applicable repository conventions take precedence.
