Limits

What a principle may hold and do. The same limits apply in the agent's run_tests, in the browser editor, on the registry and on everyone's machine.

When a detector runs#

Limit	Value	What happens past it
Time for one event	100 ms	The detector is stopped and reported once per session. The agent carries on.
Memory	32 MB	The same.
Findings for one event	20	The rest are dropped.
`match` and `file` of a finding	300 characters	The detail is left out, the finding still fires.
A file read with `node:fs`	512 KB, text only	It looks like a file that does not exist.
Network, processes, writing files	None	There is no API for them.
